Trish Tutton

Workplace Wellness, Mindfulness, and Meditation Teacher

After years working in cultures where stress and burnout were seemingly the only way to success, Trish suffered a shocking loss and things became clear: STRESS IS UNAVOIDAVLE, but it doesn’t have to dictate our lives. She took on a mission to figure out how to manage stress  – how to live and work happier and her passion is helping create calmer, happier and more effective people and workplaces. She believes that as Annie Dillard says, “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives” and that spending over 90,000 hours at work in a lifetime is an opportunity to work happier.

Trish has studied mindfulness in different forms for over a decade and translates the practices for our modern and often chaotic world. Far more than a certified yoga teacher, Trish has completed multiple trainings including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre, as well as Google’s Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence course, Search Inside Yourself and twice yearly does takes  personal retreats to further her studies. She’s also completing Co-Active’s Training Institute’s Coaching Course and is proud to be a supportive coach to her clients.

Unlike other consultants, Trish has worked in organizations for the better part of her career, navigating teams and problem solving. This positions her uniquely to offer practical and realistic solutions for integrating mindfulness at work. She loves working with companies that understand that the well-being of their staff directly influences the well-being of their company.

There are moments in life when things become clear.

A loss of a loved one. A major health scare. Shocking news.

These moments are jarring. They shake us out of the way we normally live our lives - on AUTOPILOT. They require us to open our eyes WIDE, see things as they are, make decisions and move forward consciously and with intention.

But what do we do when we get lulled into complacency of the everyday?

In this keynote Trish will inspire you to live your life consciously and aware in ALL MOMENTS. You'll learn tangible and practical techniques to bring more awareness and meaning to your life. To prioritize the IMPORTANT instead of just the URGENT.

The biggest hurdle we have when it comes to bouncing back? Our brains are wired to focus on the negative! No wonder life can be so challenging! In this session we will explore the negativity bias of our brain. Why does our brain highlight the negative in life and how can we incorporate mindfulness practices to enhance the positive and create RESILIENCE. We’ll breakdown the three main ways to be more resilient, so we can not only experience challenges with more ease, but learn from them as well.
