SUSAN F. STEVENS BIOGRAPHY

Suzanne F. Stevens (CSP), YouMeWe Social Impact Group founder has been invigorating audiences on five continents since 2000. She challenges their perceptions, empowers them with strategies, and inspires them to act. Suzanne is a globetrotter who has lived and travelled to over 60 countries for business, adventure, and philanthropy. She has interviewed leaders and entrepreneurs in 25 of them.

While many people have pivoted during the pandemic, Suzanne F. Stevens made the bold move in 2011. She reorganized her international training company, and along with her husband, Mike, they sold all their worldly possession and backpacked through Africa for two years. They interviewed pioneers in politics, education, advocacy, and social entrepreneurs for WisdomExchangeTv.com. It was pioneering women’s inspiration and grassroots experiences that were a catalyst to transition from years of training leaders and sales teams in influential communications to focusing on working with SMEs to make conscious-contributions™.

Now Suzanne F. Stevens works with leaders and entrepreneurs to maximize their meaning and resilience by making their contrition count for them, their organization, and the community. Leaders are empowered to ignite an inclusive culture while having a social, economic, cultural, and environmental impact. Strategies attract, engage, and retain colleagues, customers, and collaborators — sustainably and profitability.

In every keynote, session or workshop, Suzanne F. Stevens brings her audiences to the front row by using a customized approach, her entrepreneurial experience, vast international adventures, human observations, a slice of humour, and an interactive process to get the audience to explore how to make their contributions count for you, me, we.

Transform unconscious biases into an inclusive culture - Strategies to advance a diverse workforce’s sense of belonging

  • What if diverse employees felt they belong? What could your organization accomplish then?

A hint, incorporating diverse perspectives in business executions increases creativity, innovation, productivity, and profitability. But you know that. Research has been spouting such claims for years. So why has your leadership team not embraced diversity? Perhaps with the escalation of the “BlackLivesMatter” “StopAsianHate’, and “Metoo” movements (to name a few), organizations acknowledge they can no longer put their head in the sand. and your customers will not tolerate performative inclusion.

Hiring diverse employees is a fact; inclusion is an act. How do you, your leadership, and your team create an inclusive culture where every contributor feels their contribution counts?

Suzanne F. Stevens has travelled to over 60 countries. She has lived in various cultures for more than 7 years. She has been an entrepreneur for more than two decades and has interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs and leaders from 25 countries. Most importantly, she has asked advocates, businesses, and community leaders of diverse genders, races, cultures, religions, genders, ages, sexual orientations, and abilities — “What do you need to feel like you belong?”

Through the answers, trends emerged to bake into your organization’s DNA to create an inclusive culture where everyone feels their contributions count.

You, Me, We - Collaboratively elevate your business’s inclusion, impact, and image in your post-pandemic re-emergence

  • What if we all have a role to play in our social and economic re-emergence through diversity, equity, and inclusion?

The global pandemic has amplified many of the social, economic, and environmental gaps. Although addressing societal gaps has always been necessary, it will be essential during economic and social re-emergence. Organizations small and large can re-imagine and re-energize their offering to be more diverse and inclusive to benefit communities and their businesses.

Clients and consumers are more exposed to the power of collaboration and what is possible when we re-imagine how to bring our offerings to market. Research shows that before the pandemic, consumers were making more conscious buying decisions. The trend will amplify as we recognize our interdependence. Now more than ever, we need each other to elevate society.

Suzanne F. Stevens will share thought-provoking and inspiring stories of how businesses re-imagined their situation and amplified their impact through innovation, commerce, and collaboration. The audience is inspired to reflect on doing good while doing well — making their contribution count for you, me, and we.

Although many people enjoy their occupations, society is trending toward living a more meaningful life. What if you could have both?

The Z generation won’t sit idle, the Y generation wants to matter, the X generation wants to make their mark, and the boomers want their mark to mean more. In effect, more people, whether they are starting their careers, mid-career, changing their career, or nearing the end of their career, are seeking the opportunity to make their contribution count.

Through Suzanne’s thought-provoking stories, miss-steps, and humorous realizations, the audience will be inspired to contribute to a community to help and not hurt, be inclusive, and not exclusive while connecting and collaborating on a route to living their most meaningful life.

Choose to Express Your Feminine Power Women lead differently - Embrace it - Celebrate it - Act on it

Collaborate to make your company's contribution count Engaging employees collectively in contributions they care about

  • What if you can attract, engage, and retain your employees on their terms while meeting your mandate?

The global pandemic has highlighted and expanded the social gaps that exist. Organizations small and large will need to re-imagine and re-energize their businesses to meet the social needs to benefit their colleagues, customers, and the community or beyond.

Colleagues seek more meaning at work, and a vital way to provide it is by creating space for employees to contribute to what they care about. Traditional forms of corporate giving don’t offer collaboration with colleagues and, therefore, limit the business’s benefits. If there is collaboration, often employee commitment to the cause is lacking.

Through an interactive keynote, employees connect to each other and to what they care about, launching a framework to make their contributions count: the result, accelerating employee connection, engagement, and loyalty while contributing to the community.

Suzanne shares dynamic, thought-provoking, and inspiring stories and strategies on how organizations can collaborate to have a social impact. With interactive keynotes, the audience will be motivated to ask: “How do I make my contribution count for me, my organization, and my community? The audience will be inspired, informed, connected, and motivated to act!

Suzanne has interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs and leaders and uses research that exposes why employees don’t want to work, and why they do. Through the lens of conscious leaders, strategies emerge to bake into your organization’s DNA. Diverse employees are transformed into intrapreneurs, where they are empowered, productive, and purposeful — creating a culture where everyone profits.

Your Contribution Counts Appreciation Practices — Where Everyone Profits

  • What if each member of your multi-generational team felt valued and that their contribution significantly impacted the organization’s success?
What type of culture would it create? What ripple effect would it initiate?

Sponsors, members, employees, and colleagues want to affect an organization’s success. As a leader, you need to let stakeholders know their contribution counts! People often join or collaborate with an organization for the learning, money or the profile; they stay for how they are valued. Turning individual recognition into a culture of appreciation can increase stakeholder engagement and performance while experiencing a heightened sense of purpose – allowing everyone to profit.

Suzanne attacked the issue with energy and critical insight. She demolished and generational differences and then constructed an alternative approach that was seized upon by our franchisees. A post-convention survey of all speakers placed her ahead of all our speakers in terms of giving them new insights and a practical strategies. Well done!
