Organization General Communications
Speakers Canada is an agile team that uses a variety of communication methods to support our services.
Outside of our team communications, we have two ends of customer service supporting speakers and clients.
We pride ourselves on communicating effectively and efficiently.
As a small team, we may prioritize emergency situations, quick bookings and ongoing disruption that occurs in the events industry.
In order to serve you better, if we do not respond within 24 hours, please reach out by telephone.

Bilingual & French CommunicationsThe Speakers Bureau of Canada is committed to supporting clients in both English and French.
For organizers or speakers that require or prefer a bilingual representative, please let us know in your communications with us to ensure we can do our best to support you.

Each speaker is assigned a team member from client services and event coordinating departments.
That team member is your primary contact and will guide you through our services.
Please contact them for your needs, direction and to build a relationship.
WhatsApp is used for availability checks, quick updates, booking confirmations, placeholders and emergency situations.
We prefer telephone calls for complex situations or to catch up once every one or two months.
Telephone calls can take place to discuss an event then to discuss any updates, or we can schedule a time for a meeting.
Emails are reserved for profile updates, large content emails, agreements, and connections with clients.

Client CommunicationsOur team operates through an integrated system that identifies repeat clients, new clients, locations, topics and speakers.
We assign each client an event coordinator who will manage the initial conversations.
Each speaker is assigned to a client services representative who manages the agreement, travel, payments, connecting the speaker and client and promotional materials.
We aim to communicate via email to send information, and via telephone to better understand the event details, speaker criteria, complex logistics and to manage any conflicts for the agreement.

EVENT COORDINATING TEAMFile Assignment: We manage coordinating on a “file” basis. Each individual in each department will manage each file in each stage of the process. Each layer of our business has an individual assigned to conversation related to each process and responsibility.
Responsibilities: Coordinating New Requests, Speaker Proposals, Speaker Availability, Estimated Quotes, Logistical Confirmations, Pre-Decision Calls/Connection Emails with Organizers & Speakers, Passover emails to Client Services.
