Daniel Francavilla is a creative strategist and mentor making a positive impact. Daniel is a creative actively supporting innovative projects that have a positive impact, and making things happen for businesses and young changemakers. He is the recipient of the 40 Under 40 Award in 2018. After earning a degree in Graphic Design at OCAD University, he completed a certificate in Digital Strategy & Communications Management at the University of Toronto. As Creative Director and Strategist at his agency Now Creative Group, Daniel Francavilla works with a team of creatives and strategists to provide creative and marketing services to startups, businesses and non-profits. Through Now Content Studio, he also produces original content and podcasts. The agency’s clients range from startups to TELUS and CIBC. Now has received a Social Good Design Award and a most recently, a Business Excellence Award.
Daniel Francavilla is passionate about helping others to create social change. After travelling to developing countries as a student, he founded a nonprofit organization to help children in the developing world receive an education and to empower local youth to become leaders. Today, ACCESS supports youth who are creating their own projects and organizations for positive social change, and offers mentorship and grants as ACCESS Innovation. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Daniel partnered with fellow entrepreneurs to launch Maskwell, a company that produces reusable locally designed masks for everyday life featuring high-efficiency air filters while supporting frontline healthcare workers with every purchase. Daniel has spoken at a variety of events, conferences and workshops within the Toronto startup scene and non-profit sector.Daniel Francavilla has also mentored students from high school to postsecondary on starting their own initiatives, businesses and careers.
