Briggs Gibbins Biography

Briggs Gibbins created Last Shot Apparel to demonstrate how entrepreneurship can influence culture and industry. She positioned the company as a model for combining creativity, responsibility, and adaptability to address one of the world’s most pressing sustainability issues. Her belief that business is a tool for change stems from her upbringing in a small town outside Edmonton, Alberta. As the youngest of four children in a family led by a serial entrepreneur, she witnessed firsthand how business ventures are built, reinvented, and pursued with persistence.

From an early age she applied those lessons to her own ventures. At eight years old she launched small initiatives that reflected her competitiveness and creativity, developing practical skills that would later support her entrepreneurial path. By the age of 19 Briggs Gibbins had founded and sold her first company. This accomplishment underscored her ability to recognize opportunity, act decisively, and build on the influence of her entrepreneurial environment.

Parallel to her business endeavors, she pursued a professional career in performance. She trained as a dancer and later transitioned into choreography and direction, gaining opportunities on both national and international stages. Her performance career led her to become a director for Celebrity Cruise Lines. In this role she managed complex productions, guided diverse teams, and thrived in high-pressure environments that demanded precision and creativity.

Briggs has been a featured performer on Hallmark, Disney, Netflix, and Paramount productions, bringing Canadian talent to the global stage. As Canada’s representative at the IDO Hip Hop World Championships, ther journey led to formal training at the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in Russia. Renowned for touring as an educator, she inspires dancers at conventions, competitions and masterclasses across the world.

Briggs Gibbins has competed in triathlons and marathons, experiences that reflect her commitment to discipline, endurance, and personal resilience while demonstrating the same determination and mindset she applies to her entrepreneurial and professional pursuits.
