Catherine Wreford and Craig Ramsay, AKA the Amazing Team Broadway, are distinguished performers whose careers encompass theatre, film, television. Before they became Team Broadway, Catherine and Craig’s friendship began at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, where they connected through a shared commitment to dance and musical theatre. Their individual achievements led to prominent roles in major Broadway productions, while their friendship remained a central aspect of their journey. Their careers flourished in harmony with one another, as they toured internationally, performing in productions that solidified their status within musical theatre and performing arts.
Catherine, born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, built a notable career in musical theatre, performing on prestigious stages on Broadway and beyond. In 2025, she played Princess Diana in a co-production of “Casey and Diana” with Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton, Ontario and RMTC in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Craig, originally from Harrow, Ontario, pursued dance training before achieving success on Broadway where he appeared in Mamma Mia!, Fiddler on the Roof, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He also established himself as a renowned fitness expert with a large social media presence and following.
In addition to her performing career, Catherine graduated in 2013 at the top of her nursing class at Oklahoma State University. Six weeks after her graduation and four weeks after the birth of her second child, Catherine was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Despite a prognosis of two to six years, she chose to confront this challenge directly, utilizing her medical knowledge to research treatment options.
Craig became one of her biggest supporters, reinforcing the strength of their friendship. With determination, unwavering support, and a whole lot of love, Catherine overcame her fear of the diagnosis, disease and outcomes relearning how to talk, sing and dance to climb right back on stage with her best friend Craig.
In 2022, Catherine and Craig competed in The Amazing Race Canada, demonstrating their ability to navigate physical and mental challenges while reinforcing the strength of their decades-long friendship. As Team Broadway on the Race, they remained focused, adaptable, and determined, using teamwork to overcome obstacles throughout the competition.
Their performance highlighted the importance of resilience, trust, and mutual support in high-pressure situations. Their victory on The Amazing Race Canada further established them as examples of perseverance and collaboration.
