Connie Rotella is a Canadian choreographer, director, producer, and educator whose career spans studio leadership, stage production, and film and television work. Connie Rotella established her professional foundation through extensive training in multiple disciplines in Montreal, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles. Connie Rotella is the founder of DANSE 1…2…3, recognised as the first performing arts studio in Montreal to provide integrated training for actors, singers, and dancers under one structure. Her role includes overseeing curriculum design and long-term artistic development for emerging performers.
Connie Rotella created Triple Threat Academy, an artist development platform offered online and in person. The program supports performers seeking structured preparation for professional opportunities in the entertainment sector. Her work includes contributions as host of the Industry Talk podcast, where she engages with professionals across the performing arts. Connie Rotella also authored Becoming One, an international Amazon bestseller focused on personal and professional development within the creative field.

She has served as assistant director, choreographer, and performer with international touring productions including Danse-Sing and Il était une fois un Cabaret. Connie Rotella supported these productions for more than a decade, ensuring consistent performance quality and collaborative creative processes.Her industry expertise led to invitations as a guest judge on many stage and TV shows. Connie Rotella was also the first Canadian instructor to teach contestants on So You Think You Can Dance Poland during Season 3.
Connie Rotella has directed and produced stage productions through her company BronCon since 2010, including Forever Broadway, Musical Show Off, and Panto. Her responsibilities include casting, staging, rehearsal management, and overall creative direction. She developed The Heart of Life Production, an autobiographical project using voice and movement to document her family’s experience with pediatric medical care. Connie Rotella’s leadership on the production contributed to community engagement among families with similar circumstances.
Recent work includes choreography and direction for The Venery of Samantha Bird, where she collaborated with actors Katherine Langford and Finn Jones. Connie Rotella also directed a music video for internationally recognised composer Romano Musumarra, featuring Oceanbook Fantasia for Piano and Virtual Instruments.
