With a background in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University, she embarked on her broadcasting journey at the age of 19 as a student reporter with CFRB Radio in Toronto. In 1985, Valerie Pringle played a crucial role in the launch of CBC-TV’s highly successful news and current affairs program, MIDDAY. Following her departure from Canada-AM in July 2001, she ventured into documentary production, co-producing, co-writing, and hosting “After the Fall” for Discovery Channel, a documentary about the World Trade Center cleanup, which gained international recognition.
