Tamy Emma Pepin is an entrepreneurial leader with over 15 years of interdisciplinary experience in media, marketing, tourism, technology, digital publishing, and start-up ecosystems. She believes the creation of new ideas is the vital spark of personal and corporate progress.

Tamy Emma Pepin is the CEO and Managing Director of a creative firm, UPPL inc. the Designer, Creative Director, and Founder of the home interior brand UPPL Home and the Founder of ORB, an evolving platform for research, sustainability, and innovation. While each venture exists in its industry, they all share their passion for digital frameworks, social impact, branding, and building community.

Tamy Emma Pepin graduated from McGill University with a degree in Cultural Studies and deepened my studies in Broadcast Journalism & Communications at the University of Leeds, England. In 2018, She obtained a certificate of achievement from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She collaborated with renowned brands and partners such as the London School of Economics, Oxfam, Tourism Montreal, and the United Nations.

Early in her career, Tamy Emma Pepin became expertly versed in media production and audio-visual storytelling. She was the Senior Editor at AOL and launched the Huffington Post brand in Québec. Her process-driven approach was cemented during her time as a field producer for Anthony Bourdain’s The Layover (The Travel Channel) and Parts Unknown (CNN), while her curiosity and organization skills were pulled upon as host of two travel TV shows TamyUSA and Tamy@UK.

Narrative design and her ability to authentically connect with others landed her a Gemini Award for Best Television Host in a Service and Cultural Series, and a NUMIX Prize for Best Convergent Production. Finding our common human thread has remained a core principle of partnership building over the years.

These roles were the catalyst for UPPL, where production converges with marketing and design. She has created and executed powerful adaptive strategies for GOODEE and led productions for The London School of Economics, Netflix, and Quartz Co. Clients are drawn to her strategic, organizational, and creative abilities, as well as her perspective of interconnected landscapes.

She considers herself a master at shaping impactful partnerships and drawing parallels where others fail to observe links and is devoted to building long-lasting ventures that have meaningful influence.
