Popular opinion says if we work harder, longer hours that create more STRESS, we’ll be successful and that will make us, HAPPY. Significant research into success and happiness are CONCLUSIVE that this is simply backwards.

If you truly want your organization to be successful, it must start with happy employees. Because the well-being of your employees = the well-being of your business. The good news? Happier employees have a huge effect on the bottom line - who will treat your clients better - an unhappy employee or a happy one? Which employee will be more loyal?

There are moments in life when things become clear.

A loss of a loved one. A major health scare. Shocking news.

These moments are jarring. They shake us out of the way we normally live our lives - on AUTOPILOT. They require us to open our eyes WIDE, see things as they are, make decisions and move forward consciously and with intention.

But what do we do when we get lulled into complacency of the everyday?

In this keynote Trish will inspire you to live your life consciously and aware in ALL MOMENTS. You'll learn tangible and practical techniques to bring more awareness and meaning to your life. To prioritize the IMPORTANT instead of just the URGENT.

‘Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?’ - Mary Oliver

There are moments in life when we are challenged - what really defines us though, is the way we bounce back from adversity.

The biggest hurdle we have when it comes to bouncing back? Our brains are wired to focus on the negative! No wonder life can be so challenging! In this session we will explore the negativity bias of our brain. Why does our brain highlight the negative in life and how can we incorporate mindfulness practices to enhance the positive and create RESILIENCE. We’ll breakdown the three main ways to be more resilient, so we can not only experience challenges with more ease, but learn from them as well.

This session will include a breakdown of the how’s and why’s of mindfulness including one minute experiences of practice so attendees will walk away with the knowledge of how to practice themselves!

Ever heard the words, "But, this is the way we've ALWAYS done it!" at work before? The you know what it is to lack creativity and to be mindLESS and reactive. When we're reactive it's relatively impossible to be creative and find truly NEW and NOW solutions for our clients. When do you come up with your best ideas? When you're stressed and overwhelmed or relaxed and balanced?

In this presentation, participants will learn in detail how our brain functions and why cultivating a calm and balanced mind is our best chance at better ideas to serve our clients better and become industry leaders. Participants will walk away with simple techniques to create a more innovative state of mind.

  1. Understand and make sense of mindfulness and why it’s the key to harnessing our brain’s creativity.

In a world that is often volatile, uncertain, chaotic and ambiguous, peace can feel like it’s only accessible on a beach, in a glass (or bottle) of wine, or at the spa… and even then our mind is turning over our troubles, wondering how we’ll get it all done in time, and “what if”ing our life away.

In this interactive talk, Trish will share some practical and accessible techniques to find peace from within. If we wait until the world is peaceful to feel calm - we’ll be waiting a very long time.

Join Trish to learn how to cultivate peace from the only true, reliable and enduring place: within.

The term self-care is thrown around a lot but what does it actually mean (most importantly) to YOU?

In this interactive session participants will take time to focus on their own care and well-being.

What's working well? Where could you use some support?

We'll dig into these questions and more to help set you up to support yourself.

Self-care is a buzzword, but it doesn't have to be complicated and can focus on what you ENJOY.

Participants will:

  • Create their own definition of what self-care means to them.

  • Evaluate what's working and what's not in their self-care activities and behaviours.

Your brain at positive works significantly better than it does at negative, neutral or stressed. Your intelligence, creativity and energy levels RISE, and you spread positivity to those around you.

However, when faced with challenging world circumstances, stress and anxiety, how do you cultivate optimism without 'toxic positivity'?

Research tells us mindfulness is one of the best ways to develop hope and optimism even amidst our challenges. In this experiential presentation Trish will share simple mindfulness techniques to create a more optimistic mental state.

We’ll explore:

  • The brain’s negativity bias and how to hardwire optimism without toxic positivity.

  • A unique spin on a gratitude practice to help increase its effectivity and,

  • A guided mindfulness experience that can help our brain create a positivity bias.

It can be easy to forget that mental health, just like our physical health is a spectrum! We can thrive or we can struggle.

In this interactive session you'll learn how practicing mindfulness can help to manage two of the major threats to your mental health: stress and anxiety, and develop a sense of inner calm, no matter what life throws at you. You'll also learn how to increase the frequency of an optimistic state of mind - a true sign of mental health.

You'll practice a simple technique that can actually promote optimism as well as offer us perspective during the most difficult times we navigate in our lives.
